【交流】1月24日联邦部长康尼晚餐见面会
在2015年新春来临之际，我们荣幸地邀请到加拿大联邦就业与社会发展及多元文化部部长康尼（Jason Kenney），出席名人名商俱乐部和加中企业家联合会于1月24日举办的小型晚宴，与会员一同畅谈时政、品尝美食、共度佳节。
康尼部长于2013年7月荣任联邦就业与社会发展部及多元文化部部长，同时担任国家权力中心–加拿大政府运行委员会（Operation Committee） 委员长, 主要掌管经济、就业与社会发展、人力资源与技能发展及多元文化等项工作。此前康尼部长一直担任联邦移民部长，是加拿大任期最长、最具效率的移民部长。其间，康尼部长积极解决及消除本国移民申请积压问题，大力推动联邦政府与包括华人社区在内的少数族裔的联系和沟通。
在1月24日晚餐见面会上，康尼部长将向会员发表“加国经济与移民投资和工作方向”的主题演讲，并就大家关心的问题，与会员们面对面交流。参加者还将有机会和康尼部长合影留念。欢迎您的加入！

This traditional levee marks the start of the New Year, and gives us an opportunity to exchange greetings with Jason Kenny. Let’s celebrate the arrival of the year of the Ram.
Jason T. Kenney is Canada’s Minister of Employment and Social Development and Minister for Multiculturalism. Following the Conservative victory in the 2006 general election, Kenney was appointed Parliamentary Secretary for the Prime Minister of Canada. On January 4, 2007, he was sworn into the Privy Council as the Secretary of State for Multiculturalism and Canadian Identity. Kenney has held the post of Minister for Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism since Oct 30, 2008.
